The ominous, abstract faces surrounding the model are symbolic of her anxiety. Colored pencils were sparingly used to add colorization to the woman's lips and nails, and it also appears in the irises of the faces surrounding her. I intentionally added only a hint of color to suggest that the mind may be playing tricks on the viewer.
